My microwave has only grill and microwave plus their combination cooking features without convection mode. I need to win the challenge of baking exellent (eggless) cake from my rival friend (who is actually an enemy). Please help me that for how much time and how it should be cooked so that I can feel on top of the world??? Dear friends I really need to win.

I recently charred 2 bags of popcorn in succession in my microwave. A bonehead move, I know. I’ve cleaned out the microwave, but now any time I run the microwave the smell of burnt popcorn fills the kitchen.

Is there anything I can do to remove the smell?

Is the microwave (radio wave) cancerous? If so, what distance from the equipment is safe?

I got this cheap thing which is a microwave-safe, burrito-shaped plastic bowl where you can put mixed egg batter into and put on the microwave for 4 minutes. Last time I did it it smelled nasty.

Can I still do it, or is it not recommended?

I also require to know which is the longest distance this microwave antenna can cover, to make jumps from antenna to antenna. Thanks in advance.

The cabinet is 69 inches from the floor. But it is only 12 inches deep! The microwave I bought is 15 inches deep. Will this matter? And will I have enough clearance from the top of the stove? Very concerned, the installers will be here soon. Microwave came with a package deal with all new stainless steel appliances. Very small kitchen and could use the extra space that the over the stove microwave will give me the extra room.

Well, I am totally confused about baking stuff in ovens. The ones I usually see on TV and read on recipes about baking is that it should be put in the “OVEN” for about blahblahblah minutes.
I don’t know if it would be okay to use our microwave oven since we don’t have the big oven at home. If it is possible, please give me the difference if I bake stuff in the microwave than just using the big oven. Thanks. :D

When we try and use the microwave right after using the convection oven, it barely operates. . .much low-grade noise.

Not the corn you buy already in the microwave bag, but regular popcorn that you would ordinarily pop in a popper. Can you pop that in a bag in the microwave? How do you do it?

I have a blank kitchen wall that I’m planning to install both a new porcelain tile back splash and microwave on. I can’t decide if I should put down the tile and then install the microwave on top of the tile OR install the microwave on the wall and then tile around it. Any thoughts to if one is better than the other. Thanks.
