I have always want to know if I can use my microwave oven that has convention/combination/grill functions to make fish and chips well? I don’t know if the breaded layer will become crisp like if you fry it in hot oil. Anyone?

   Fish & chips are better with shake & bake and chips done the oven

   You need to deep fry fish in batter and blanched potato chips for traditional fish and chips. You need oil at around 190 centigrade. I’m afraid you cannot do this in a microwave!
